AI Text Humanizer
An AI text humanizer rewrites text so it reads more like a person wrote it. This one removes the filler phrases, clichés and stiff vocabulary that AI writing tools overuse (“it is important to note that”, “delve into”, “leverage”, “furthermore”), adds natural contractions, and can split overly long sentences. It highlights every change so you can review it.
Humanize your text
Humanize AI Text
Rewrites stiff, formulaic phrasing into plainer, more natural English. Runs in your browser.
Rewritten text
Rule-based rewriting: no AI model is used and your text isn't uploaded. Always read the result before using it. Rewording can't guarantee any AI-detector score, and it doesn't change who wrote the ideas.
How to use it
- Paste your text (up to 20,000 characters).
- Choose a rewrite strength: Light, Balanced or Strong.
- Keep Use contractions on for a conversational tone, or switch it off for formal writing.
- Select Humanize Text. Changed words are highlighted in green; turn off highlighting to read the clean version.
- Read the result, edit anything that doesn’t sound like you, then copy it.
What each strength changes
| Strength | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Light | Removes filler openers and clichés, and shortens wordy phrases | “It is important to note that in order to grow, we must plan.” → “To grow, we must plan.” |
| Balanced | Light, plus simpler vocabulary, varied transitions and contractions | “Furthermore, we utilize robust tools” → “Also, we use strong tools” |
| Strong | Balanced, plus splits very long sentences and removes hedges such as “very” and “really” | “…across several channels, and it also sends alerts…” → “…across several channels. It also sends alerts…” |
Before and after
Before: “In today’s fast-paced digital world, businesses must leverage the power of data in order to stay competitive. Furthermore, it is important to note that artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity. In conclusion, it is clear that AI will revolutionize the way we work.”
After (Balanced): “Today, businesses must use the power of data to stay competitive. Also, artificial intelligence plays a big part in improving productivity. Clearly, AI will transform the way we work.”
The meaning stays the same; the padding goes. The example drops from 46 to 29 words.
What the tool protects
Links, email addresses, numbers, prices and percentages, text inside quotation marks, and code in backticks are never changed. Line breaks and paragraphs are kept, so lists and formatting survive.
What it doesn't do
- It isn’t an AI model. It applies a curated set of rewriting rules for phrases that AI tools overuse. It won’t restructure an argument or add ideas. That part is up to you.
- It doesn’t guarantee an AI-detector score. Detectors give inconsistent results, and no rewriting tool can promise a particular score.
- It doesn’t change authorship. If a school, publisher or employer requires you to disclose AI use, rewording text doesn’t change that obligation.
Tips to make writing sound more human
- Add something only you know: a specific example, a number from your own work, or a short opinion.
- Vary sentence length. Mix short sentences with longer ones.
- Cut the summary paragraph that repeats what you already said.
- Read it aloud. If you wouldn’t say a phrase to a colleague, rewrite it.
- Check length afterwards with the word counter.
Privacy
Rewriting happens entirely in your browser. Your text isn’t uploaded to a LIVETOOLSLAB server or sent to an AI service.

It’s designed not to: it swaps phrases for plainer equivalents and removes filler. Always read the result, because no automatic rewrite understands context perfectly.
